French-born and British-raised, Nigerian by blood and sub-culture; I did the unthinkable in 2014 and tossed myself on a plane headed for Abuja, Nigeria. Two years later I still have surreal moments and ask myself what the hell I was thinking.

Now freshly called to the Nigerian Bar and counting down the miliseconds until my NYSC year is over, I can assure you that every minute feels like a lifetime. I’ve made some  pretty awesome, life-long friends and experienced everything from love to hate and everything in between.  Mid-twenties life in Nigeria is really not exactly what I expected.

I might stay on in Naij, or I may go home; who knows? It’s 50/50. But for now I guess…
This is it.
